| Baccarat "Napoleon" brandy snifters Maybe it was Mary Kay's recent postings on Napoleon that had me all consumed to bring home these brandy snifters when I found then on eBay over the weekend. Or maybe it was just a desire to reward myself for some good, hard work of late. Whichever is the reason, I'm glad to call these stems my own. |
I have often enjoyed a fine brandy; but I feel I must further indulge this passion with a truly appropriate and worthy spirit. Maybe I can get a loan from this bottle (to the owner, you know who you are):
| Napoleon was a man of the people after all. Oui? Yes, this is a double magnum of 1933 Armagnac. |

Joseph...most wonderful. A post after my own heart! Love the snifters and most certainly would enjoy what can only be described as the apex of the tipple...Armagnac, and what a perfect example!
Ha! I don't think that you can blame your latest acquisition on me, Joseph! But I'm very pleased that you were able to get the snifters on eBay! You certainly deserve them.
After re-gifting a bottle of Armagnac to our son, I'll have to try some. The only time when I've had it was on crepes in Normandy and in a cocktail at the Ritz.
Thanks for the link to my blog! If you tell me what you're longing to buy on eBay I could write a timely post about it! Hermes? LV? champagne? a castle in the Loire valley?
